The Almonte tower sits on a lofty hill, offering an outstanding view of the surrounding countryside.
It is made up of a primitive nucleus, a square tower built at the end of the XII century then added on to in the XIII century. The interior has maintainted the window openings of the XIII cent. and the characteristics of the later plan of the VII and VIII centuries. |
